Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 10, 2026
StudyGrow is developing Ontario AI Math Tutor, a proposed AI-supported math learning service for Ontario Grade 9–12 students.
The product is currently in development and is not yet available for general use. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through our pre-launch website and parent waitlist.
1. Information we collect
When you join the parent waitlist or complete our optional survey, we may collect:
- your email address;
- your child’s grade;
- general information about your child’s math-learning needs or challenges;
- the types of math support that interest you;
- your interest in participating in a parent feedback call;
- contact information you voluntarily provide for that call;
- referral information, if you use or share a waitlist referral link; and
- basic technical information, such as the page visited, referral source, campaign information, browser type, device type, and IP address that may be recorded automatically by our website or hosting provider.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the waitlist or survey.
2. How we use the information
We may use the information to:
- manage the parent waitlist;
- send updates about Ontario AI Math Tutor;
- invite parents to test or provide feedback on an early version;
- understand the needs of Ontario students and parents;
- decide which product features to prioritize;
- administer the waitlist referral program;
- improve the website and measure how visitors find it;
- respond to questions or requests; and
- protect the security and proper operation of the website.
We will not use waitlist information to make automated decisions about your child.
3. Emails and consent
By joining the parent waitlist, you agree to receive emails about Ontario AI Math Tutor, including product-development updates, early-access opportunities, and optional requests for parent feedback.
You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe option included in our emails or by contacting us at hello@studygrow.ca.
4. Children’s information
The current website and parent waitlist are intended for parents or guardians.
We do not currently ask students to create accounts or submit homework, school records, test results, photographs, voice recordings, or other student content through this website.
A separate and more detailed privacy policy will be introduced before the Ontario AI Math Tutor product becomes available and begins collecting student information.
5. How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website and waitlist, such as providers of:
- website hosting;
- online forms and databases;
- email delivery;
- analytics; and
- technical support.
These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us and are expected to protect it appropriately.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, or website.
6. Where information may be processed
Some service providers may store or process information outside Ontario or outside Canada. When information is processed in another jurisdiction, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.
As the product and its technical infrastructure are finalized, this section may be updated to identify important service providers and data-storage locations more specifically.
7. How long we keep information
We retain waitlist and survey information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- operate the waitlist;
- conduct product research;
- communicate with interested parents;
- prepare and launch the first version; or
- meet legal and operational requirements.
You may ask us to delete your information at any time.
We may retain limited records when necessary to document consent, honour an unsubscribe request, prevent misuse, or comply with legal obligations.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or loss.
However, no website, email service, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
